The commission, headed by a retired Kerala High Court judge, will look into the lapses and failures in preventing ragging in the university.

Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on Thursday appointed a Commission of Inquiry to probe the 18 February death of Pookkode Veterinary university student Sidharthan JS. The panel, comprising Justice (Retd) A Hariprasad of the High Court and DySP (Retd) Kunhan VG of the Wayanad Special Branch, has been directed to submit a report in three months.
