Kerala govt forms panel to get ECI nod for proposals
The committee is expected to streamline the process and to ensure time-bound disposal of all government proposals requiring prior clearance from the ECI.

The Kerala government has formed a three-member committee to approach the Election Commission for clearance of proposals that “cannot wait till the completion of the election process”. While the chief secretary is the chairman of the committee, the additional chief secretary of the general administration is the convener. The third member will be the top official of the department concerned.
