The Kerala Human Rights Commission has registered a suo motu case against the state Electricity Board for snapping power supply to a Kozhikode home over allegedly manhandling its employees. Justifying, Power Minister K Krishnankutty said it was taken to safeguard the security of the employees. “KSEB has the right to cut off supply if someone defaults on payments,” he said.
