Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said a probe would be held into the police taking the sheen off Thrissur Pooram. Controversies marred the iconic temple festival due to alleged restrictions imposed by police and their reported interference in the rituals. Vijayan told reporters in Kasaragod that the DGP has been directed to probe the incident and submit a report.
