Kerala Bank writes off loans of landslide victims

The bank has also expressed its intention to adopt a sympathetic approach toward the loans of other disaster-affected customers.

In a humanitarian act, the Kerala Bank has written off the loans of the people affected by the landslide on 30 July. Kerala Bank — a consolidation of district cooperative banks in the state — has announced that it will write off the loans of individuals from the Chooralmala branch who have been severely impacted by the disaster.
