Jaya Jayahe Telangana, penned by Dalit poet Ande Sri is all set to be unveiled as the state anthem at the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations in Hyderabad on 2 June. The song was popular during the Telangana movement. A controversy erupted when music director MM Keeravani was roped in as the BRS said he hailed from Andhra Pradesh.
