Katchatheevu took centre stage again with AIADMK and DMK locking horns over the isle ceded to Sri Lanka. The Dravidian parties have been accusing each other of doing nothing to get it back. Former chief minister J Jayalalithaa had moved the apex court, and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking its retrieval. The DMK, too, has been demanding it back.
