Karnataka’s Shakti Scheme has completed one year. Over 225 crore free rides have been taken by women under Shakti Scheme since its launch in Karnataka. On average, 18.1 lakh women travelled free under the Shakti scheme between June and 31 March, 2024. The state government spent ₹434.11 crore every month for the implementation of the scheme during the period.
