The video of a woman who was allegedly paraded naked in Belagavi around seven months ago went viral. Based on a complaint by the survivor’s daughter, the police registered a case. The alleged incident occurred on 31 July, 2023, when the survivor and her son questioned some people for encroaching on a part of the three acres the government had allotted her.
