The toddler accidentally fell into the 20-feet deep well in the farm while he was playing in the evening hours of Wednesday, 3 March.
The state has been waiting with bated breath and prayers for more than 12 hours even as earthmovers frantically kept digging a tunnel next to the borewell throughout the night to reach the trapped two-year-old boy. (Supplied)
Efforts are in full swing to rescue a two-year-old boy, who fell into an open 20-feet-deep borewell on his grandfather’s farmland in Karnataka’s Vijayapura on Wednesday. The rescue workers are supplying oxygen, besides digging a hole next to the well to reach the boy. District in-charge Minister MB Patil is monitoring the operations.
