Karnataka to pay dues of PM’s Mysuru visit last April

Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre said the state government hadn't covered the expenses during PM Modi's visit to Mysuru because MCC was in place.

Karnataka Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre has said the government will bear the pending hotel bill for when PM Narendra Modi visited Mysuru in April last year to inaugurate the “Commemoration of 50 years of Project Tiger” programme and went on a wildlife safari. The cost came to ₹6.33 crore and the stay at a hotel cost ₹80 lakh.
