Karnataka fuel price hike: Rates still lower than neighbouring states

With the Karnataka government hiking local VAT, petrol prices are now costing ₹102.86 per litre in Bengaluru and diesel coming for ₹88.94 a litre.

The local VAT hike in Karnataka has pushed petrol prices above ₹100 a litre and diesel to ₹89, but the rates are lower than neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. Petrol now costs ₹102.86 per litre in Bengaluru and diesel, ₹88.94 a litre. In Andhra, petrol is ₹109.87 a litre, followed by Kerala and Telangana with ₹107.54 and ₹107.39 a litre, respectively.
