To encourage people to take up organ donation, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the Certificate of Appreciation distribution programme on Friday, 1 March, at the Chief Minister’s Home Office. It is part of the broader initiative led by Jeevasarthakathe, now known as the State Organ Tissue & Transplant Organisation, which is actively promoting organ donation in the state since 2017.
