The Karnataka Cabinet on Thursday, 14 March, okayed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the police sub-inspector (PSI) recruitment scam that allegedly happened under the previous BJP government. Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda told reporters that the report of the Justice B Veerappa Committee that probed the scam said 113 people — including government servants and middlemen — were involved.
