Karnataka bans ‘Hamare Baarah’ after Muslim bodies object

The Karnataka government has banned the screening of the Hindi movie, Hamare Baarah, for at least two weeks after some Muslim organisations raised concerns. The order quoted several Muslim organisations as saying the movie portrayed Islam in an “instigative and derogatory manner” and a conspiracy to target a particular faith and disturb peace.
