Child rights activists in Karnataka expressed concern over the government’s action plan for the current academic year skipping critical issues such as child rights, labour, marriage, and POCSO Act. However, activists and educationists welcomed the government’s decision to formulate annual action plans but they stressed the need for detailed and effective implementation to develop life skills among children.
