Can the YSRCP gain the upper hand in garnering Kapu votes in Andhra Pradesh is the question since 10 March when Mudragada Padmanabham, a Kapu community stalwart, announced his decision to join YSRCP on Thursday, 14 March. His entry into YSRCP may split the vote in the community where actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan enjoys a huge “fanbase”.
