A day after Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accepted the socio-economic and education survey report, popularly known as the “caste census”, the dominant Veerashaiva-Lingayat and Vokkaliga communities reiterated their objection to the “unscientific” report and warned of protests. The chief minister has said the Cabinet will discuss the report threadbare before taking a decision.
