Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday, 28 June, wrote to his counterparts in the south and Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, and West Bengal requesting them to consider passing a resolution in their respective assemblies to abolish NEET. He also wrote to the Prime Minister to exempt the state from NEET, basing admissions on 12th class marks.
