President Droupadi Murmu has accepted the resignation of Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement on Tuesday, 19 March. Soundararajan, who was also the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, tendered her resignation on Monday, 19 March. The President has appointed CP Radhakrishnan, Governor of Jharkhand, to additionally discharge the functions of Governor in Telangana and Puducherry.
