The JD(S) has received ₹89.75 crore in donations through electoral bonds. The party has already disclosed the names. Embassy Group of Companies, Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited, Biocon, JSW Steel Ltd, Amara Raja Groups and Infosys are among major donors. Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar Shaw clarified she donated to several political parties, including JD(S), personally and not through her company.
