The TDP-led NDA government in Andhra Pradesh is all set to resurrect Janma Bhoomi, a programme introduced in 1996 for bringing about development in villages with the involvement of people. It would be brought forth in a new avatar— Janma Bhoomi-II—to suit the needs of Andhra Pradesh, which badly needed impetus for development.
