Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday, 27 June, announced plans to set up an international airport in Hosur. “The proposed airport, with a capacity to handle 30 million passengers per year, will be sprawled over 2,000 acres” Stalin announced in the state Assembly. Stalin also announced a world-class library and intellectual centre will be set up in Trichy.
