IAF has first-ever emergency medical response system in Bengaluru

It has been set up in order to provide expert guidance and definitive care during medical emergencies of serving IAF personnel and families.

The CAS Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari inaugurated the IAF Emergency Medical Response System (EMRS) facility at the Command Hospital, Bengaluru on 21 May.

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari has inaugurated the first-ever Emergency Medical Response System of the Indian Air Force at Command Hospital Air Force in Bengaluru, a Defence Ministry release said on Wednesday, 22 May. The system will provide expert guidance and definitive care during medical emergencies of serving personnel of the IAF and their families across India.
