Hyderabad doctors save tribal teen after 4 hours of surgery

Doctors at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad performed life-saving surgery on Saturday, 24 May, on a 17-year-old boy from the Gutti Koya tribe of the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. The operation, lasting four hours, involved delicate procedures to remove an arrow lodged dangerously between Nandu’s heart and lungs, said the doctors.
