A hoax bomb threat to an Air Arabia flight to Sharjah from Calicut airport on Saturday, 22 June, led to the aircraft being grounded while the bomb detection squad inspected it. One of the passengers who arrived by the aircraft from Sharjah to Calicut had left a note saying ‘bomb’ on one of the seats noticed by the ground staff.
