Doctors warn of water depletion and salt depletion as above-normal maximum temperatures are likely during the hot weather season (April to June). The weather office has predicted heatwave conditions in northern Karnataka districts till 5 April, and dry weather across the state in the coming days. In Telangana, maximum temperatures would reach 40° Celsius, with minimum temperatures around 25° Celsius.
