After the completion of four days of police custody, the 66-year-old Revanna was produced before an Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.

Karnataka JD(S) MLA and former Minister HD Revanna, who is facing kidnapping charges, was remanded in judicial custody till 14 May by a Magisterial court in Bengaluru on Wednesday, 8 May. Also, his bail petition before a sessions court has been posted for Thursday. His son Prajwal Revanna, accused of sexually abusing women and recording them, is still at large.
