Hawala money twist to fake antique dealer Mavunkal case

Kochi-based conman Monson Mavunkal, arrested three years ago for presiding over a sensational fake antique racket scam is back in public focus. Crime Branch DSP YR Rustom, who investigated the cheating case against Mavunkal, gave a curious twist to the whole developments on Monday, 18 March, saying that some businessmen had given hawala money worth crores to Mavunkal.
