Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, and Narayanpet are yet to receive free power under Gruha Jyothi scheme.
The election Code of Conduct for general elections has temporarily halted free power of up to 200 units under the Gruha Jyothi scheme for Telangana’s seven districts. Earlier it happened in March during the MLC polls. As a result, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, and Narayanpet are yet to receive the benefits of the scheme, launched on 27 February.
