The Opposition has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for showing disrespect to President Droupadi Murmu by remaining seated next to BJP leader LK Advani when the President came to the latter’s house to confer the Bharat Ratna on him. Th Congress called it the “gravest disrespect”, recalling Modi had not invited her for the inauguration of the new Parliament House.
