Government residential schools will be at par with private ones

While the overall percentage of pass students in the Karnataka SSLC examination was 73.4, government-run residential schools got 96 percent.

Buoyed by the sterling performance of students of the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society-run schools in the Class 10 board examination, the government will upgrade them on par with private schools. While the overall percentage of pass students in the Karnataka SSLC examination was 73.4, government-run residential schools got 96 percent. There are 833 residential schools in Karnataka.
