Due to the impact of the blast their body parts got strewn around, with some buried in debris, police said.

At least three workers were killed in an explosion at a stone quarry in Virudhunagar in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, 1 May. The explosion was felt by people living in nearby areas. They demanded the closure of the quarry. The blast occurred when workers unloaded explosives from a vehicle in order to store them in the quarry.
