ED has arrested sacked DMK functionary Jaffer Sadiq at the Tihar Jail in connection with a drugs-linked money laundering investigation, official sources said Friday, 28 June. He will produced before a special PMLA court seeking his remand for custodial interrogation. He was first arrested in March for alleged involvement in smuggling pseudoephedrine with street value of ₹2,000 crore.
