AIADMK members in the Tamil Nadu Assembly were evicted en masse on Friday, 21 June, after the main opposition tried to raise the Kallakurichi hooch tragedy during Question Hour. The eviction followed the members refusing to raise the matter during Zero Hour as the Speaker suggested. The Speaker subsequently withdrew the ruling following an appeal by Chief Minister MK Stalin.
