The SBI’s astounding electoral bond revelations have provided credible evidence of the predicament of Indian democracy, characterized by the unholy bond that has existed between the corporate class and the political class since independence. The Indian election has ceased to be an instrument of people’s voice. It has become a process to legitimate corporatocracy instead of people’s democracy.
