EC to Karnataka CEO: Take action against Karandlaje over TN remark

The DMK sought action against Karandlaje for alleging that a person from TN was responsible for the blast at a Bengaluru cafe on 1 March.

The Election Commission on Wednesday directed the Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer to take immediate and appropriate action within 48 hours on DMK’s complaint that Union MoS Shobha Karandlaje violated the Code of Conduct. The DMK sought action against Karandlaje for alleging that a person from Tamil Nadu was responsible for the Bengaluru blast.
