Filing of nominations for Lok Sabha polls in Telangana began on Thursday, 18 April, following the EC notification. Polling is on 13 May and counting on 4 June. EC has deleted 5.41 lakh voters, which include the dead, shifted and duplicate voters, from Hyderabad district’s electoral rolls. In 2019, BRS won nine seats, BJP (4), Congress (3) and AIMIM (1).
