The EC has April filed a complaint against BJP’s Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya for soliciting votes on the grounds of religion. On Thursday, Surya posted a video of the Ayodhya Ram Temple on X claiming that Narendra Modi granted the wish of crores of “Bharatiyas” after a 500-year wait. For “Bharatiyata to survive, vote for BJP”, wrote.
