The DMK and its allies won 40 Lok Sabha seats (39 in Tamil Nadu and the lone Puducherry seat) in the recently concluded Parliamentary polls.

The ruling DMK will celebrate the victory of its alliance in the LS elections in Tamil Nadu at Coimbatore on 14 June. The DMK and its allies won 40 LS seats. The celebrations will coincide with the valedictory of the centenary of late DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi. CM MK Stalin would be felicitated for leading the alliance to a resounding win.
