The Institute of Advanced Virology has announced its plans to launch a cutting-edge Mobile Viral Outbreak Investigation Unit (MVOIU). It is expected that this innovative initiative is set to revolutionise the way viral outbreaks are monitored and managed in Kerala. The MVOIU could eliminate time lag, as collecting samples and transporting them to a central lab could take valuable time.
