The Congress’ performance in recent Lok Sabha elections in Telangana fell short of its expectations, having to contend with eight seats. The party was overconfident about the BRS vote bank shifting wholly in its favour. But it went the BJP way, indicating a chink in Congress’ election management. It should introspect how BJP beat it in impressing people more.
