The DMK government has filed defamation complaints against AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami and BJP state president K Annamalai for their statements against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on the alleged distribution of narcotics. Chennai City Public Prosecutor G Devarajan sought punishment for the duo, saying the defaming statements falsely linked Stalin to the alleged distribution of contraband.
