Kerala speaker on TP Chandrasekharan murder convicts' remission

Kerala Assembly Speaker AN Shamseer on Thursday, 27 June said he denied permission for UDF’s motion to discuss the government’s alleged move to grant sentence remission to three convicts in the TP Chandrasekharan murder case, based on the facts and documents before him. He was “deeply hurt” by the Opposition accusing him of being “scared” to discuss the issue.
