Telangana witnesses one or two cases of people daily registering complaints against loan apps after borrowing through them. Collection agents from the apps are pressuring them to return the money, sometimes driving them to suicide. Worryingly, there are increasing cases of people making investments based on advertisements on social media and later getting to know that it was a fraud.
