Rahul Gandhi asked to be Leader of Opposition

The CWC on 8 June unanimously urged Rahul Gandhi to be the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha to which he said he would decide on it “very soon”. The meeting, chaired by Mallikarjun Kharge, was attended by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Kharge said the poll mandate is a “decisive rejection” of the politics of divisiveness and hate.
