CPI(M) has 80 ‘undisclosed’ bank accounts, 100 offices in Thrissur: ED

ED informed EC that the party has about 100 'undisclosed' immovable assets in the form of office buildings in the Thrissur district.

The ED wrote to the Election Commission claiming a money laundering investigation revealing that the ruling CPI(M) in Kerala has about 80 “undisclosed” bank accounts and 100 unreported immovable assets in Thrissur, official sources said Wednesday, 10 April. It said the revelation followed an investigation into Thrissur-based Karuvannur Service Cooperative Bank and questioning of CPI(M) MLA AC Moideen.
