Court extends judicial custody of actor Darshan, Pavithra and others

All accused, including Darshan and Pavithra, were produced before the magistrate through video conferencing from the prisons they have been lodged.

A Bengaluru court on Thursday extended the judicial custody of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, his friend Pavithra Gowda and others, accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, till 18 July. All the 17 accused were produced before the magistrate through video conferencing. Police sources said first accused Pavithra was the “major cause” for Renukaswamy’s murder.
