Cong yet to name candidates in 9 Telangana LS seats

The grand old party has so far announced candidates for nine seats. For the rest of the constituencies, it is unable to take a quick decision.

The Congress is likely to name its candidates for the remaining eight seats in Telangana after its Central Election Committee meeting on Wednesday. The party has so far announced candidates in nine seats. Party leaders attributed the delay to the high command’s calibrated approach in deciding the candidates. Party strategist Sunil Kanugolu’s flash surveys, too, contributed to the calibrated approach.
