The Congress on Monday nominated Dr Kadiyam Kavya, daughter of BRS MLA Kadiyam Srihari, as its candidate in Warangal. BRS had originally named her for the seat. She and her father joined Congress on Sunday on the assurance of a party ticket. Kavya shattered the dreams of BRS MP Pasunuru Dayakar, who joined the Congress, hoping to contest again.
